On April 26th I found I was 5wks and 4 days pregnant. I am supposed to have my first ultrasound on the 24th of May, but for some peace of mind I was hopping for some assurance. On the 28th of February I was raped and still going through that case and March 28th I had unprotected sex with my fiancee' I got my period on the evening of March 18th and ended March 21st, I guess I want to know if that was a normal period or not. I also took the generic morning after pill on the 29th if March, I guess I am now 8 weeks and 4 days today. Is my fiancé the father.

I am sorry to hear about your trails and tribulations. With the information you give, your fiancé is most likely the baby's father.

You do Not say if you took emergency contraception after the rape. So we have to assume that March 18 was a normal period. Do you have any reason to think that it was not?

Emergency contraceptives are not 100% effective, only about 87%.

Remember not to freak out when you see the gestational age of your baby on the scan. Day 1 of the gestational age is 2 weeks BEFORE conception.
