Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for the repeat and heavy bleeding that you describe without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. Possibilities like hormonal derangements, thyroid abnormalities, endometrial hyperplasia, uterine polyps, ovarian cyst etc should be ruled out with getting thorough evaluation done. Use additional protection while having intercourse if worried for pregnancy. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation and assistance. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you control the bleeding and regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest (preferably in dark room). Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
