Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The treatment would depend on the type of cysts diagnosed. If these are due to PCOD, then this can be treated by the use of insulin modifiers and hormonal contraceptive pills (as most common cause for PCOD/PCOS is insulin resistance). Be in regular follow-up with your gynecologist and report any unusual/new symptoms immediately. You can discuss with your treating gynecologist about getting started on these medications for better control and for symptom relief. If you are planning for pregnancy, then once PCOD changes are under control, ovulation inducers can be started to help you have more than 1 egg released from ovary to increase your pregnancy chances.
If the ovarian cysts detected are complex cyst and not due to PCOD, then removal of cyst would be better (especially if they are growing). Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist and proceed with further treatment options as suggested (based on examination and further investigation results).
At times you can have occasional egg release from ovary, and if you are sexually active (and not on any form of birth control measure), then chances of pregnancy also cannot be ruled out completely. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for further examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
