Hello there. I am 22 years old virgin male who masturbates once-twice a day. Sometimes I feel some pain in my testicles which I think its normal after masturbation. Been masturbating for almost 6-7 years. So I am wondering, is masturbation bad for my health? Is it related to face acne? Is it bad for my prostate & is it bad for my semen/sperm quality in terms of reproduction?

Sorry for asking lots of questions, your answers would be appreciated.

D.D.

Masturbation is harmless. Sperm and the fluids that make up semen are continuously produced in the body. If the semen is not ejaculated, it gets disintegrated and absorbed in the body. Those who masturbate can even benefit and get a sense of physical satisfaction and release of mental tension.

Sexual expression is a natural part of life but if you have constant urges for sex if might be a problem. If your health, job, relationships or other areas of your life are affected, you might be experiencing compulsive sexual behavior. Are you trying to escape from other problems, such as loneliness, depression, anxiety or stress?

If not, no worries.
