I caught a bad cold about two weeks ago. Started with laryngitis and then congestion and an ongoing hacking cough. Now I have a dull pain in my lower left abdomen that increases A LOT when I cough.
Is it possible to pull a lower ab muscle from coughing too hard?

Hi pocoloco,

A chronic, consistant coughing can certainly cause one to use muscles one wouldn't ordinarily use unless they get something like a chronic cough. Try using a Pillow to press againist your stomach when your cough, that will help relieve the strain on your muscles.

Good Luck,
