I am 4days late on my period. Last week i got a yeast infection, is it possible for a yeast infection to delay a period. It was my very first yeast infection. I am feeling very dizzy and tired this week I wake up every morning feeling sick to my stomach. And not to mention i am very burpy( coming from a girl that had trouble burping in the first place- i could not for the life of me burp) and now you cant stop me. its pretty gross. I am also noticing peach fuzz hair on my stomach. I took a pregnacy test last night, but it was neg. Is there a chance it was to early?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Periods can be delayed due to stress, lifestyle changes, changes in diet, sleep or exercise levels, hormonal imbalances, infection, pregnancy, etc. If you do not get your periods within 10 days of expected period dates or if you develop any new symptoms, visit your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further evaluation and tests to look for the underlying cause. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet. Treatment as needed (based on examination and investigations results) would be started to help you.
Take care.
