Is it normal to have your period while taking bc continuously?

I have been on marvelon for 4 years and have been taking my pills continuously for the past 2 years and have had no issues with spotting or any other side effects. This month I continued taking my pill to avoid getting my period and I missed 2 pills late which I have been done a few times before and have had no issues. If I hadnt started this pack of pills I would have gotten my period on as usual on the Friday but I did take the pill I missed on Thursday and still got my period on the Friday and have had it for 2 weeks now and it has been pretty light for what I'm used to. Should I be worried?
