is it normal to have brown spotting during manapause?

about a year ago i had a cyst on my left ovary and both were removed surgically, prior to that i did not have a period for 3 months , since the surgery i continued not to have a period now yesterday morning and today i noticed that i spotted very little brownish color and wiped very lightly on the toilet paper was some very light brownish like as if the ending of my period i am experiencing cramping and breast being tender like my period is going to come but doesnt i am 54 years old is this part of the manapause or is something i should be concern abouit
