I had sex for the first time a week ago. I bled the first time and then we had sex repetitive for three days and I was bleeding a little bit. And then stopped for three days meanwhile I had spotting happening. So it managed to stop (the bleeding and the pain) and now we've decided to have sex again and I'm bleeding again with pain still. The pain in missionary position seems to really hurt compared to other positions. Is it normal to bleed still after a week when we've been on and off and why does it hurt so much in the missionary position?

Extremely eHealthy
Might not be normal - none of my girlfriends ever mentionaed either the pain or the continued bleeding...

I know some hymen are tougher than others - some even have to be broken by a medic, but whether it is possible to only partially break the hymen during intercourse, I don't know, but if it is possible it certainly sounds like that could be the trouble...

I suggest more research and maybe a trip to see the medic or have a chat with the practice nurse or family planning clinic...

I'm not a doctor, but here's my take on this. The guy you're with might be thinking sex is supposed to be rough. Especially when youre new to sex,he needs to go slow and you have to let him know what he's doing that feels good and when it's painful and he needs to stop or change his technique. Other than that,be sure it's not your period and see a doctor ASAP if the bleeding continues. And I hope youre making him wear a condom.
