Q: Is it MS or Fibro

I was told it was fibromyalgia. But my symptoms dont fit the criteria for it. I only have pain, extreame muscle pain, every single muscle or nerve on ONE side of my body only, my right.

The pains usually comes in spells , episodes, or attacks as I call them. Lortabs, soma, help only a tiny bit, probably not even worth the trouble to take them.

I have slurred speech, my eye feels funny, trouble hearing, my gait if off, no balance and I walk like I have something wrong with me when the attacks hit.

What does that sound like , more probably for MS more than fibro, because only one side of my body is affected?

Get a second opinion. Only on on one side of your body...

Have you had any tests to rule out a stroke(s)?

I know when MS feels the need to be entertained at my expense it has never stayed on one side; your symptoms are odd for MS.

As far as fibro...a person has to meet certain criteria and one being a certain amount of trigger points. Can't exactly get trigger points if both sides are not affected. Plus fibo pain can be deceased if not eliminated entirely with an anti-inflammatory diet. I personally know it works.
