About 6 months ago I got an extremely heavy period with no pain and became anemic shortly after that. That is the only time my period has ever been that heavy and since then it has been completely normal. Lately I have been having dull pelvic pain about everyday and have been having a watery, blood tinged discharge or a bloody discharge. After looking online all I can find is cervical cancer. This last month i didnt get my period, i think because im so stressed and have been spotting daily. Can you have these symptoms with other health problems or is it most likely cervical cancer?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The symptoms that you describe could be attributed to possibility of infection, cervical dysplasia, pregnancy, hormonal derangements etc. It is difficult to comment on the exact cause for the symptoms that you describe or suspicion of cervical cancer without examining you and going ahead with further evaluation. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause for the abnormal bleeding/discharge that you describe. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you control the symptoms and regulate your periods. Consider being in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle. If infective cause is detected, and if you are sexually active, get your partner also treated simultaneously to prevent chances of re-infection, and avoid having intercourse while being on treatment.
Take care.
