Over the past 3 weeks I have been having this stomach pain issue. It always occurs in the morning and sometimes when I am about to go to bed. In the morning when I wake up, I feel this crampy gassy feeling. When I always eat breakfast or foods, my stomach ALWAYS starts to hurt down in the intestinal region. With this pain, it always makes me want to use the restroom, and when I finish using the restroom, my stomach starts to feel better, but it has been going on now for 3 weeks...

In the past 3 weeks before this pain started I started eating these spicy kettled cooked jalapeno chips, but they weren't spicy at all, but they had paprika, and spice ingredients which in my opinion led to something called IBS? Also I started eating pizza which made the stomach pain much more worse... I really want to know what is causing this, and every now and then I get this palpitation feeling somewhere in my stomach, like it can be on the right side, left side, lower right side, lower left side, and so on.

I do have an appetite that has not gone away, but it's just the fact that when I eat, it makes me want to go to the restroom, and pain is there too when I use the restroom, really bad gassy, crampy, sharp pains...

I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux and anxiety issues/stress, in the past 3 years. I took Nexium which helped, but later on, my doctor gave me Protonix. I have NOT started taking any medicine whatsoever.

This is the 3rd week now. I am tired of feeling this pain, and I want to get back to normal, it is very emotional having to put up with this. I would love to receive an answer and diagnosis as soon as possible before I end up going to see a doctor.

Hey Buddy, I have had IBS for 16 years now. Ibs feels like food posioning, it can happen because of poor food choices or stress or even certain odors. What your feeling sounds like IBS. One of the worst foods is tomatoes. If you have hemmoroids then eating hot peppers is a great idea, how ever not in large amounts, but its not the best for ibs. You need to eat natural foods like bran in the morning and yougurt with probiotics, ACTIVA is the best. Simple foods, you will find that if you try something new and fancy, it will cause an attack of IBS, there is nothing medically that can be done. However keeping stress levels low, if at all possible in these times.. gotta give up alcohol, tomatoes, spice food, junk food, pop, coffee, chocolate ect all these things can be contributing factors.
Now you need to see a GI gastroentrologist asap, keep a daily diary of the food you eat, stressors, attacks of ibs. You should have a scope of your stomach, and possibly a colonoscopy to check that palpatation you feel. You can go to 100 doctors but if you don;t do the tests you will never know for sure. I know how much your suffering, it is a terrible disease, i have only been able to live with it because of simple foods, pizza i have once every 3 months, and only on a good week where the attacks have been low. With the acid reflux, you should drink allot of water, eespecially when you feel the burn, it waters it down and does help. Stay on the nexium as serious issues can develop with your vocal cord that are UN_REPAIRABLE, so please get a gi and find out whats going on with your tummy.. ok god bless. You must learn to eat simply or your suffering will continue and get worse.. Its does get better, when you make a change.. oh and NO EATING AT NIGHT, nothing after 6pm tty later ww
