I have been experiencing severe cramping in my lower and mid abdomen, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and bloating, diarreah (sometimes 10 times a day)and constipation (sometimes in the same day as the diarreah) along with lower back pain. My family doctor is waiting on my stool samples to get back to determine what needs to be done, she thinks it could be IBS. I went to the ER and they saw nothing on the x ray. Yesterday I went in for a sonogram on my kidneys (I am being treated for grade 3 reflux) and the tech noticed gallstones. My family doc says that may be part of the problem, but the area of pain Im having would indicate something else as well. So I began doing some online research and I came upon endometriosis and noticed that these symptoms are similar as well, and I do have pain during sex. I just wanted to get some feedback from anyone who has any information on this. thanks!

about 6 yrs ago my doc said i had ibs after complaining of abdo pain for yrs, i started treatment which did not help the pain symptoms continued, this yr i have been diagnosed with the last stage of endo, ladies if u still havin problems, especially the pain during sex, i beg you ask ur doc to refer you gynae, u will need a lap to confirm or rule out endometriosis. I have read that endo mimics IBS and that is one of the reasons it take so long to get endo diagnosis confirmed. hope u be ok.
