Welcome to e health forum.

With the common practice of oral sex, it is always a issue of what to do when you get semen in the mouth.

The safest thing to do with semen in your mouth is to swallow it or spit it out. When you swallow it the enzymes and acids in your stomach will quickly destroy any viruses and bacteria.
When you spit it out, use a mouthwash to remove any lingering semen. Don't brush your teeth before or after oral sex. The brushing can cause slight bleeding of your gums leaving them open to infection from HIV.

Semen does not have any toxins and poisons.

When you swallow semen, Semen and sperm go down into your stomach, where they are digested with all your other food. There is no passage connecting your stomach to your ovaries. You can not get pregnant from swallowing sperm.

If the donor has no STDs, it is perfectly safe. If you plan to have a baby with the man in question, it can also lower the chance of miscarriage. By having your body recognize the antigens in the mans semen you can reduce the possibility of an inappropriate immune response.

In case the person is infected, you can catch diseases like gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes and chlamydia. HIV virus is contained in body fluids, like semen, but it has to get into your blood through your bleeding gums or damaged teeth. If your mouth is strong and your gums are firm, then you can swallow the HIV virus without any trouble.

I hope this helps.

Swallow or spit has been the question, probably for centuries and for many is not an easy thing to decide.

In the cold light of day it is considered to be an unpleasant practice by many and others have religious objections to it, but in the heat of sexual arousal it is a very different situation...

While swallowing semen won't actually do any harm and the arguments rattle on about the food value or whether it helps or hinders conception or causes facial or chest hair, or a husky voice in women the medical profession have dismissed most of these old wives tales as being completely without foundation.

Those women who have trouble swallowing pills, dislike anything near their throat and cannot deal easily with catarrh will probably find it better to spit and should feel free to do so without prejudice - this can be achieved with a high degree of decorum with a little practice and a handy tissue, though some of the Hollywood stars of the past maintain it is a waste if it is not massaged into the throat, chest and upper breasts where it is a valuable anti-ageing agent...

Some men and women believe it is an insult if the ejaculate is not swallowed but most ordinary men consider it such a great favour to have any oral sex she can do exactly what she wants with it...

Women who can tolerate the penis at the entrance to the throat and can swallow as fast as the man ejactulates will probably discover it is best to do exactly that and with luck won't taste a single drop...

Some women have mastered the deep-throat method...

Some of the female porn stars say semen takes the taste of whatever the man eats. One woman was reported to say she insists her leading man eats little else but strawberries and cream (or similar) for a day before they perform, in order to make the experience tolerable for her...
