My last depo shot was March 2011 after being on depo for almost two years. I finally got my period back on January 15th 2012. and again on January 24th. I got three periods in February, all lasting three to six days each. In March I got one on the 5th, it lasted 8 days, stopped and started back on the 19th and again lasted 8 days. And it started again last night. It is getting very frustrating, is anyone else had a similar experience? How much longer can I expect these frequent periods to last.

When your on the depo, one of the most common things is that it will screw with your cycle. So after you stop the depo, its almost guaranteed that it will take awhile for your body to get back to normal again.... I was on the depo shot for 8 months. It screwed with me in a lot of different ways, including my cycle. i hardly ever had a period, and if i did, it was out of nowhere. now that ive stopped the depo, i get a period every month, but its a lot heavier and not always the same time frame.... it will take a while for your body to get back to its normal cycle.

i was on depo for only 3 months and the whole time i was on it i was on my period but as soon as it wore off i was finished and started normally again with my cycle.depo messes with periods alot but u shud be back to normal before no time
