I m 22yrs old.I used to have regular menstrual periods which happened on either the 28th or 29th day of my cycles till the previous two months.I had some problems with my boyfriend(with whom i was sexually active)two months ago and we broke up.I was very depressed and virtually stopped eating for about a month. This crash dieting led to the lose of 7 kilos(my weight reduced from 63kilos to 56kilos).Then my appetite decreased and i continue to eat very less.My menstrual problem started then. Two months back i got my periods on the 31st day which has never happened to me before but there was no other problems like heavy flow or increased vaginal discharge after that. Then again after one month my periods came on the 27th day which also never happened before.Usually my periods lasts for 7 or 8 days. This time starting from the 8th day i had brownish discharge till 10th day.I also have increased vaginal discharge thereafter. The vaginal discharge is sticky, white and non foul smelling. My menstrual flow is normal and i have no associated abdominal cramps or other problems.I m also not on any regular medication. Please tell me if i have any problem.

I think you should wait and see if your body goes back to normal on its own. I think the rapid weight loss may have caused your period to stop temporarily. (This often happens with female athletes and women who suffer from anorexia.)
