I stopped taking birth control over four months ago and I've only had one period. I was taking ortho-low. I went to the doctor after I hadnt had my period for a month and a half, she said that sometimes your body takes a couple of months to normalize and become regular again. A couple days later I started my period. that was in the beginning of november. I havent had my period since and it's january 11th. I feel like Im on my period right now, I feel like I have cramps. Im kinda worried though because my boyefriend and I had an accident the end of november when we had sex. the condom slipped off...we realized it and got a new one, but i guess it's very possible he pre-ejaculated right?? I took a prego test three times last week and the first one i think was faulty becau Shocked se there was the faintest sliver of a line, Im talking I had to hold it up to the light and stare at it for ten seconds to see it. I took two after that, one at night and one in the morning and they both came back negative. I felt nausious for a couple days in a row at the end of last month. My breasts arent sore, but my nipples were tender for a couple weeks last month and my breasts feel a little larger. And this sounds gross, but my BM's arent regular either...diarehha...uuggghh. Has anybody been through this before. I dont want to have to take more time off from work just to hear the same answer I heard last time. does anybody have any advice??

Hi jenben, I'm on the same boat as you... I stopped taking the pill around October of last year after being on it for almost 4 years. Since I stopped, I've only had 2 periods... it's already February now and I am still waiting for it. My bf & I use a condom during intercourse... but in your case, I wouldn't worry. Doctors say it takes a while for your body to get back on a regular schedule. Hope this helps!
