Q: Irregular period - PMS or pregnancy ?

I have very irregular periods. I had sex - with a condom - 3 weeks ago. I also had seminal fluids on my skin, but I was very careful to avoid genital contact. Now I am cramping, experiencing the strangest sense of fullness, and bloated with lots of clear discharge. This has gone on longer than I would expect for PMS (3 days as opposed to my usual 1). It seems pretty unlikely that I am pregnant, but what else could explain my symptoms? And, if I might be pregnant, when should I take a test?

I haven't had nausea or sore breasts, but perhaps a tinge of tension headache.
