I have always had irregular periods since I was a teenager...It started to get normal for several months. My periods have got a lot heavier and have bad cramps! The last 2 months I have had my period every other week. This is getting quite old. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Welcome to ehealthforum,
You would need further investigations like complete hormonal and blood work-up along with ultrasound scan to confirm the cause for the changes in the bleeding pattern and irregularity of periods. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for examination and further evaluation with tests to determine the underlying cause. Get started on treatment as indicated to get back your periods and get them regulated.

second period in a month
Hello, I wanted to ask you something. I had my period on November 1st until November 7th. then a second period on November 13th. I am not sxually active, I am 23. Can you please help with an answer what might cause this? Should I worry?

hi i have same issue however i get my periods and they wont stop, i am sexually active and am afraid that my boyfriend will leave me because of this issue, i have to agree to have sex even with my period so my boyfriend wont search for this outside with another woman, i have done all the test and nobody have been able to help me and am tire of all this pills and drugs i have gotten from the doctors please help
