I have two issues at the moment, lets start with the one that happened first. I was 12 when I started my period, and i used to be so regular I could have marked the days by it, then right around when i turned 16 i started getting a period ever six months. When it finally would come, it would be a normal five day period, no additional pain nothing. I went to the Obgyn and I don't have cancer or anything like that, and she put me on birth control and said that would take care of everything.

Well it did, i started getting my period back but it also made me gain weight, break out, very angry, and so I went off of it and I am back to a period every six months.

I try to talk to my friends about it but they all just think its awesome that I don't have a period all the time. I'm afraid I won't be able to have kids.

This leads me to my second problem. I've only had sex a handful of times and have never hit the big O vaginally, the first time hurt of course but every time after that it just feels like they are rubbing something inside of there that doesn't feel good, it feels uncomfortable like the way I feel things are off or something. I've tried all sorts of different positions and I've had sex with two different men so it can't be that person because with each of them it felt the same way.

I wonder if this happens to other women or just me, and if I'm also one of those girls that will never get an orgasm during sex.

Any thoughts or personal stories would be greatly appreciated.

It is fairly normal. Only a small percentage of woman can orgasm from intercourse alone (and NOBODY ever tells us that fact, you just have to figure it out for yourself like you did). It has to do with how far your clitoris is from your vaginal opening (C-V distance) and the technique of you and your partner during sex.

You will either have to stimulate your clitoris while having intercourse, have him do it, use a vibrator with him inside you or find a position where your clitoris gets stimulated. With you on top you have the best time trying to accomplish this. The other position is doggy style where both you and him have easy access to your clitoris.

When you are more experienced, you can try the coital alignment technique (CAT). It is however an advanced sexual position and does not work well with beginner or casual sex but rather in a long term relationship where you can work on it over time.

Best of luck with your quest!!
