Menstruation Answer A6284

What you experience might be related to the side effect of birth control pills. The birth control pills contain hormones which interfere with the normal female hormonal fluctuations. When you stop taking the pills, it might take some time for the menstrual cycle to return to normal. How long it might take is different for every woman, but it usually takes at least several months. You would have to be patient. Meanwhile your gynecologist might recommend adequate treatment, as the one he gave you before, to induce menstrual period.
