i had spotting before and i had a heavy period with large clots, but i never had that happened to me.
you would have to go to your doctor to see what's wrong. my doctor didnt put me on birth control until he figured out what's wrong with me.
i found out i have a small cyst on my ovary, and i had to get an operation called hysteroscopy (camera in uterus) and d&c (scraping of lining of uterus) hoping it will stop me from bleeding. then the doctor put me on birth control pills which regulate my period.

thank you i spoke to a doctor and a pharmacist. it turns out to be a hormonal imbalance. i have to wait until the bleeding stops to start birth control
