the last time I had sex was in February of this year. Since then I've been experiencing irregularities in my cycle which has for the most part always been on time... every 26 days for me. Since then I've had it come a week late once. Once about a week early and also for like three months straight I've had something of a mini period twelve days into my cycle. This has always been accompanied by period like symptoms - bloated feeling in lower abdomen, lower back pains, moodiness, and swollen, tender breasts. My breasts worry me as well because it feels like they never go back to it's regular size. I believe I have grown a size bigger, I went from a B-cup to a C. I had my pap done in february as well and i asked the doctor about this and she told me that it's not uncommon for women to have their breasts grow in their twenties. I'm 27. I didn't hear from them which usually means that everything is ok. Should I be concerned about any of these symptoms?

Those symptoms you listed are PMS. I know...not fun, huh? I always take Pamprin to help me out with it.

Are you taking any birth control or anything? I ask because breast growth can happen while taking BC.

If your doc said it was okay, then I would say it's ok too. Did you talk to the doc on why perhaps your period is irregular?

If you're not on BC, then I guess I would try and see if you can. It would regulate cycle and make some of those PMS symptoms less severe.

no, i'm not on birth control and I have not told my doctor about my cycle because at the time of my last visit with her my cycle was still regular. I guess I'll have to go see her now... thanks though.
