I have two "freckles" on my iris just below my pupil. I went to the opticians to see if it was anything serious, and he said it was not. But I would like to get them removed as it looks quite odd, and is quite noticeable. I know there is removal of melanomas, so can these be removed??

I woudn't know about removal; but I have problems with my irises, due to age though. I have blueish green eyes and one part of my iris is hazel in one eye. I learnt to deal with it.
I'm curious to why you didn't ask the optician though. Wouldn't an optician know more than the average online viewer?
