I'll make it short. These are my symptoms:

Intestines continously make rumbling, gurgling, farting noises.
Abdomen feels slightly oversized.
Liquid, noisy bowel movements.
Discomfort and occasional pain, irritation around anus.
Some bright red blood in bowels. (but stopped about a day ago)

Also, when I press on my stomach/abdomen, I can feel and hear movement in my intestines (like some sort of liquid).

What bothers me most are the noises because they are very loud, constant, and of course embarrasing (even more so during class). What do I have and what can I do to get rid of it?

Thanks in advance to all who answer Smile

Theses symptoms can be due to irritable bowel syndrome or some food intolerance.
The bright red blood is most likely due to anal fissures (tears) or inner hemorrhoids (they are developed when one suffers either from chronic constipation or chronic diarrhea).
One thing that must be considered when someone experiences a loud bowels sounds accompanied with diarrhea is carcinoid syndrome.

My personal opinion is that you are suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

However, see your physician!

I also have the noises, bloating, and discomfort that you describe. I've had the problem for a year now and I've been searching almost every day for a solution. I've gone to 4 different doctors and had numerous stool tests, blood tests, even a colonoscopy. Each test they told me there were no problems that they could see, on the colonoscopy they said I had some redness in my intestine but they tested it, and said they don't know what it was but it didn't have any trace of crohns disease or any serious intestinal problem. I have given up going to the doctors because they don't seem to care at all, so I'm done wasting the money for the visits.

There are some days where the problems are really bad, and some times where I'll go several days to even a week without any problems at all. The only thing I can think that may have caused it is that I was taking antibiotics for acne for about 7-8 months last year and at the end of the antibiotics use is when the problem started. I also had food poisoning in april last year but the problem didn't start until around october, so I'm not sure. I hope we all find the solution soon.
