Q: cyst between vaginal opening and urethral orifice

I just noticed I have a cyst looking like bump about the size of a penny or smaller between my vaginal opening and my urethral orifice. It is not painful but it is disturbing to look at it since it looks very abnormal. Also, I can't really find my clitoris. Embarassed

In addition my breast never developed (or fully developed) I have a very stick thin stature. I have my period which is good. I also got pregnant before but it took a while for me to. But I got a TA done after that. I don't have THAT much hair around my body. In addition, I have a square jaw somewhat (i think it looks to broad or masuline)

I am worried or plain SCARED that I may be a psuedohermaphrodite. Since I'm such a hypochondriac I fear many things that I may not have, and I just freak myself out. Someone explain too me what it could be or reassure me that I'm not. My boyfriend says everything looks normal, but to me it looked different that that last time I saw myself down there (about 3-4 years ago). I'm very scared.

Okay, Beebobee:

I think you are making too much out of this. If your bf says you look normal, then the chances are nothing is wrong. If the cyst is bothering you, go to a doctor and get it checked out. Have you shown the cyst to your gyn or asked about your clitoris?

On the other thing, if you were more manly, wouldn't you have MORE hair on your body, especially pubic hair and male pattern hair? I know you are scared of finding out you might have signs of hermaphroditism, but it could just be a hormonal imbalance and easily fixed with medication.

Best to make sure everything is good medically before you start worrying about how things look. Most of all, don't try to diagnose yourself. It's normal to freak out a little with changes in your body, but the truth about your condition should calm your fears. Don't believe anything until you visit a doctor.

If you are able to get pregnant, chances that you have ANY type of intersex condition is very very unlikely. Usually, there are other symptoms obvious long before now, or a woman finds out (at the latest) when she is not able to conceive.

But you should probably get your cyst checked out!
