Q: Interrupted periods
asked by: DoctorQuestion on April 26th, 2009
My period is 2 weeks late and I have tried using Parsley tea and Vit C to bring on my period for like 2 days. Because I couldn't stand for the taste of Parsley tea and I stopped and continue taking Vit C. Yesterday I started to have brownish discharge which is more like bloody discharge and it stopped. This morning there was more discharge but no period. Is my period coming or it means something else? I had a pregnancy test and it was negative. So I don't think I will be pregnant. Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you!

According to the data you provided, your menstrual period might have been discontinued. It is likely that the brownish discharge is the normal blood coagulation. It may be that the small quantity of lost blood only indicates that the period is light.

Your period might appear again and completely finish. You might want to just wait for several days and see.
