Hi everyone! my best friend and her husband are both white, and were fortunate enough to adopt a baby. The baby is Vietnamese, and they are thrilled to have been blessed with a child. The only issue is, they tell me about some of the nasty things they hear from people..any advice or words of engouragement?

I can't help you much here..I know how hard it is but I am just as puzzled as you are. There was a movie somewhere on TV about mixed marriages..Not sure if it aired though..Going to try to find some more info on it..Anyone else seen commercials?

It makes me sick when I hear that stuff, I have two kids both of them are half Asian I get alot of rude comments but also good ones. I guess you just deal with it but I have been asked where I adopted my kids, Im trashy because white people don't date other colours. That type of thing but I hear more of biracial babies are so cute.
