Q: Internal Bleeding

I just found out that my mother has eternal bleeding. she is in a nursing home and they put in the hospital. what could cause eternal bleeding? My mother is 86. she is very heavy, she had a triple bypass operation about 7 years ago....I don't know it that is enough information...plus she was taking water pills.
