Ok, I'm new here and just looking for some advice on my condition. I'm have major pain coming from the back of my buttock and back of my thigh. It sometimes goes all the way down to around the calf area. I'm 24 years old, and I've been pretty active all my life up until about a year ago. I havent been as active as before but I'm in somewhat decent shape. It started out about a year ago. I was havin some minor back problems and that translated to havin leg problems. One day I just woke up and started walking and noticed a slight tightness when I would bring my left leg up while walking. A day or 2 later, I was in the worse pain of my life and could barely walk. Almost constantly, I had a sharpe pain going all the way down from my butt to my calf. Went to 2 different doctors. One said I needed to find more comfortable chair to sit in at work and advised physical therapy. The 2nd doctor I went to, while in the waiting room, I blacked out from the pain but that doctor really never got a finger on the problem and just treated me for pain. Also sent to to have a ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. Over time the pain went away. Now, a year later, a similar situation is going on, except its the other leg now. Started out as a slight tightness from the back of my thigh, and has now progressed to severe pain. Some positions I get in there is no pain. When I bend down it hurts. When shift weight to the right side of my body it hurts. When I pull my leg up while its extended it hurts. With my leg extended, I can barely pull it up any higher than it is when I'm walking. I'm very hard headed when it comes to doctors, but its gettin to that point to where I cant function right in this state. I have had bad experiences with doctors, and that has alot to do with it as well. I'm just tryin to get a good idea on whats going on, that way I can try to help a doctor in trying to diagnose whats going on. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks alot in advance!
