When was your last pap smear/ gynecologist exam? This sounds like something you should discuss with your doctor. It could be normal cramping or an indication of a more serious problem with your ovaries, even endometriosis.

Sounds like a digestive problem.
If it were gynecological, you would have mentioned bleeding problems and/or your pain would probably last longer. It sounds digestive, to me.

How long has this been going on? If it's only been a couple of days, you may have some type of food poisoning. Been eating anything suspicious lately? Anyone else who you've eaten with feeling sick? I had some bad sushi one time and had many of the same symptoms you are having. It lasted like a week.

Have you been on antibiotics in the last three months? Sometimes you can get colitis (an inflammation of your colon) weeks or even months later. If that's the case, don't take anti-diarrhea medication, which can make it worse. Instead, see your doctor.

If it's been going on longer than a few days, you should see your doctor anyway. You may have some kind of gastrointestinal problem. Don't let them tell you it's Irritable Bowel Syndrome until you get a lot of tests done to exclude other things. IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion, after all, but too many doctors use it as a catch-all either because they are lazy or because they don't know better. If your regular doctor doesn't seem to help, go to a gastrointerologist (a digestive specialist).

In the mean time, drink plenty of fluids and try eating yogurt, which may bring back the balance to your system.
