Insurance for parents ?

I am professionally a software Engineer.

I am thinking that its time to start a health Insurance for my parents.
My Mother is 48 years old and my Father is 52 years Old.

My Mother has Sugar and Low Blood Pressure and my father has Low Blood Pressure.
What is the best insurance for my parents that i should go for.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Do i need to make following certain steps before taking any Health Insurance?
If yes could anybody tell me what those steps are and how should i approach them?

Thanks a lot in advance to all.

Hello getvijay

Immediately I will say your parents should be proud to have a son like you looking out for them. You are a great example of how we should love and cherish our elders.

I believe you have a lot to look at. There are a lot of insurance and supplemental plans to review. You definitely need to consider things like finances (just how much you’re willing to spend), prescriptions, office visits and where you currently live. These are just a few considerations.

So I do have information I would like to share with you and anyone else that is interested. Just send me a private message and provide your contact info (email, phone) and say hello. I will then provide you with my findings. Good stuff! Hope to hear from you soon!

They are not yet considered seniors so it's the best time to insure them. As far as pre-existing problems are concerned, as long as they did not have minor medical admission because of low blood pressure, i think you will be able to get a coverage. Try going for Humana.
