I have type 2 diabetes for 15 years. Now I take insulin Mixtard 30 Novolet twice daily, 10 U in the morning and 8 U in the evening. My blood glucose is usually very high (between 12-19 mmol/dL)2 hours after meals but hypoglycemia often come at night. How should I change my insulin regimes ? Thank you in advance for your support.

If your sugar level is aroung 100, have a small snack before bedtime (or some juice). Either that or start taking the largest dose of long acting insulin in the morning instead of the evening. That show I started preventing my middle of the night and early morning lows. Looks like we have different ways of measuring though...so I'm not sure if I'm understanding your message to the fullest. But feel free to ask more questions, I'd love to try and help. Smile
