inside of my vagina there are lots of red bumps!

Visit your doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination and further investigations to look for the underlying cause for your symptoms. If you are sexually active, consider getting your partner also treated simultaneously to prevent re-infection. Avoid tight fitting clothes. Use loose cotton undergarments. Avoid repeated touch and use of any harsh soap or chemicals on the affected area. Keep area dry and clean. Drink plenty of water.

so i took your advice and went to see a doctor and they tested me for herpes. this is terrifying to me. my partner is getting tested, but i still dont know where i could have possibly gotten herpes from. i have only had 2 partners in my life and both are clean.
The infection still really hurts, and it hurts to walk and sit down, i was precribed valtrex, but so far it dosnt seem to be working very fast. How long does valtrex take to kick in? Cause the pain downthere is terrible
