Q: Inner Ear Problem? HELP

I KEEP having the same issue every now and then and it is the WORST feeling ever I would not wish it on my worst enemy...I went to the doctor about this but had no luck, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts..heres my problem
Randomly, every once in a while I'll get REALLY dizzy and from this I get nauseated also I get cold sweats and my heart rate increases(which I'm assuming is bc of a drop in blood pressure)...and I DONT KNOW WHY! It happens suddenly..NO sudden movements which would cause a shift in blood pressure, I stay WELL hydrated and I'm not diabetic so it isn't related to my blood sugar..the only thing i can think of is that it must have something to do with the balance in my inner ear...also, I might mention that the last TWO times i've had these "episodes" i have been recovering from a cold...I dont know what to do about it, and have no idea what it is! I threw up twice today from nausea due to the dizziness and it was so bad I couldn't drive home...yes it was very bad...anyone have any ideas or solutions? Thank you sooo much!

You could have fluid in your ears from the cold. This can cause dizziness and balance problems. The fluid that is going to your ears can also go to your stomach and cause nausea. I would get on a good allergy or sinus medicine. In the meantime you can flush your ears with a 50/50 solution of vinegar and lukewarm water. (My allergist gave me the recipe for this rinse.)
I hope you get to feeling better soon.

well i went to the dr. today, we had talked about her prescribing me meds...she thinks i might have vertigo so she gave me some meds to take when I feel the dizziness coming on...its just very frustrating and its terrible when I'm unable to even drive myself home
