Q: inner ear bump

I went to my family dr today for a sinus infection. while he was checking my ears, he noticed a bump/lump in my right ear past where a finger would normally fit. What would that be?

I don't know if this is the same thing as me but I kept biting down on my molars idk why and now i have a tiny bump on the inside of my ear it feels like its growing.. is this the same thing as you feel? mines right at the last spot of the inside of my ear that you can feel (where it closes)
