inhaled steroids side effects Posted: 03-18-08 14:27pm
I have had a hard time tolerating inhaled
steroids and Flovent looks like my best
bet. I experience horrible side effects
and end up quitting after 3 or 4 days. Has
anyone experienced this and fought through
them to have the side effects go away
after a few more days or so? Please give
me hope.
Thanks,
Phil

What kind of side effects you have
experienced?
Which inhaled steroids you were using
before Flovent?
Are you telling that you can't tolerate
Flovent, too?

I noticed that my advair(250/50) made me
irritable ( actually my wife noticed) ;o).
However, after sticking with it for awhile
it seemed to work. Unfortunately, I am not
very disciplined at continuing to take
meds. That's me experience. The advair
seems to work. I guess that why I quit
taking it. Of course, after my wife
pointed out my irritability, she knows
when I start up with my advair again. I
also notice the changes. However, it does
not continue to make me irratible.

Agitation, aggression, anxiety, or
restlessness are side effects of using
Advair that need to be reported
immediately to your physician.
