Q: inguinal hernia.

Hi i went to the doctor yesterday because of right testicular discomfort, he did the hernia check and he said he felt something on both sides but was not sure because he said he was not very good at that test. ive been having that pain for a couple of years now, it went away but it came back not too long ago. Im the u.s army and i need to stay fit so i go to the gym alot but he told me not to lift weights, what can i do?

Have an experienced general surgeon examine you, to assess for the presence of inguinal hernias. If hernias are confirmed, then they can be repaired as an outpatient.
