Inginal Hernia Post -op
I ma going on day 3 of operation for inguinal hernia. Much more pain than I was expecting from this surgery. My question is The area and stiffness has really subsided . I am moving much better . But in the lower section where the actual mesh was applied it is still swollen and has a burning sensation with some light pink discoloration. I assume this is normal?I am going to give it another day or two and see how this area progresses . Any advice would be appreciated

Inguinal Hernia Repair - Open - Post Op Recovery.
I am at day 4 and still have moderate swelling and burning sensation when trying to walk -- I am told short shuffle walks and up and down some steps will help recovery and that by day 7 you should be pretty much out of the post op pain -- I hope !!!!
