Dear Doctor,

Basically, since August 2008, my periods have suddenly gone irregular and the

pattern of them as been as follows:

Sept/Oct/Nov’08 – No Period on/off Spotting

December 1st – Period lasted 10 days (not normal for me as mine tend to last 4-5 days)

January 23rd – Period lasted 4 days

February – No period

March 19th – Period lasted 4 days

April – No Period

May – No Period

June - still waiting

I have been to see my GP numerous times and he arranged for me to have a vaginal ultrasound to check for possible PCOS/Fibroids but the report came back all normal and I have also had two blood tests done to check my throid function and hormonal levels checked and that too came back all normal.

Can you please advise as to what I should do next and what the problem possible could be? I have been trying to conceive since this irregularity has occured and am not having any luck, after reading on lots of materials for a possible cause of Irregular periods I am beginning to think that there is something wrong with my ovaries.

I have had normal periods since the age of 11 and have a 5yr old daughter who was conceived naturally without any problems.

I would be grateful if you could reply to me asap.

Thank you very much

ps: Doctor is not taking me seriously and keeps telling me to keep an eye on my periods but if they are not coming what shall I keep an eye on.
