Digestive and Bowel Disorders Answer A4638
Current medical status: Abdominal cramps (severe at times), yellowish discharge (frequent) w/gas release. Frequent Bowel movement & as soon as I eat something. Very loose (liquid mostly) stool and feels oily Sometimes heart burn is more intense than usual & more antiacid does not alleviate heartburn No changes in diet Gradually feel better if I do not eat or drink anything (including water) for extended time intervals Joint pain at times
Current medical treatment: OTC Anti-Diarryehal tabs. Used in the past 5 days only but not steady No additional meds

Diarrhea and abdominal cramps could be due to an intestinal infection but need to be proven with a microbiological examination of the stools. Another inflammatory but non-infective intestinal disorder is also possible (Cron's disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, etc.). A stomach disorder like gastritis is probably also present.

You may want to consult an enterologist about your condition.
