I had an upper gi yesterday and the dr running the machine told me that my duodenum was inflamed and he did not see any sign of an ulcer. I was curious what could cause this condition to occur? Could it be something as simple as stress, which I hope it is. Or is it something more complicated like a gall bladder inflammation, or pancreas problems? He hasn't called me back with the final results yet, I also had an ultrasound done but the technician wouldn't tell me any information from that test at the time.
