As a child and teenager I had several MRI's, Cat Scans and ultra sounds, my mother heard that as much radiation as I have had could cause problems for me while trying to get pregnant and keeping the baby while pregnant. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that had a lot of mri's, cat scans and ultra sounds at a young age and didnt have a problem getting pregnant or keeping the baby or those of you who did, what did you do about it, and were you ever able to have a baby?

I found this forum while searching on the internet about infertility and radiation.

As a child, my hips were dislocated and doctors had to use radiation on me sometimes 3 times a week for an entire year. Now I am married and want to have kids, and wondering if I will be able to conceive. Finding this out would really help me. I plan to talk to my doctor about all of this at an upcoming apt. I am so glad I found this question... lets just hope an answer comes around !
