ok, here is the deal. my ex, to put it
lightly, used to get around a bit. before
we did anything, i made sure she got
tested. everything was negative. but she
gave me oral sex, handjobs, footjobs, made
out, and i fingered her. we ended up
breaking up. my iron count is fine. and
she ended up getting tested again after we
broke up. negative. when she got tested
the first time it was about 2 months after
she had done anything with anybody else.
the second time she got tested, it had
been 5 months. i am a hypocondriac. should
i be concerned?

Foot jobs? I have never heard of those.
Some people take up to six months to show
a positive test. They are called slow
progressors.
For your own peace of mind, you should
take the test. It is the only way to know
for sure.
All the best.
Always

It is like playing the lottery. You may
gain or you may lose.

To answer your question scarred199 about
your chances its really low. If she had
the Elisa test done, which more then
likely she did, it can detect up to 98% of
people within the first 3 months of their
last possible exposure. Also when she gave
you oral sex were you wearing a condom or
not? Also while there has been one
recorded case of a female contacting HIV
through kissing they believe it wasn't
through the saliva but rather from blood.
Her partners gums bleed after brushing his
teeth and blood carries the highest amount
of HIV in the body and if she had any cut
or sores in her mouth it could of entered
that way. But like I said thats the only
known recorded case of contracting HIV
through kissing. Oral sex on the other
hand is slightly higher but still very low
compared to intercourse so my best
suggestion would be to get tested. Its the
only way of knowing and I know its hard
but really your chances are low.
