Can a person be infected with Hiv from around 7 years, have annual blood test/regular blood tests and still not affect the count of the white cells?

It can be for some people if the virus goes undetected for a long time and the immune system starts shutting down.That is why early detection is so imperative.The sooner you start meds and start to change your lifestyle the better chance you have of attacking the virus.
