Q: infected tongue ring?

i got my tongue ring done 6 days ago and it has white dots at the back of my tongue but im not sure whether thats an infection. And yellowish puss is also coming out of my hole from the ring and a white ring around the area but apparently thats normal. It does not hurt, but how can i tell it is infected and what should i do to clear the puss and white dots?

are you still having this problem? the tongue ring is infected. please remove it at this point
