Ok well for years i've had it now, 4-5 years i think. I've tiny white bumps at the base of all my hair follicles on my scrotum and down the back of my penis. They aren't on the surface and can't be popped. However some of them are what i'd call "open" and when squeezed whiteish pus will be excreted from inside the follicle. One or two have grown to just under 1cm size. The large ones usually burst after a while due to friction and get all inflamed. Then gradually another large one appears in a different area.

The large pustules last for months at a time and the smaller ones are constant and never change.

The symptoms don't join into my pubic hair, just the hair on the scrotum and the penis.

Since i've had them for so long i've been sure that they would simply go away after time. (I'm 18 and have had it since i was 13-14).

I've been searching online for a couple months now trying to diagnose myself and i can't figure out what it is. As follicitus and carbuncles etc will go away after weeks apparently and those symptoms don't fit mine exactly. I've been far too embarassed to go see a doctor. There is no pain in this region apart from when one of the larger pustules gets inflamed and bursts which happens rarely.

Many thanks and any help is greatly appreciated.
