My daughter (1 yr old) has an itching issue. She typically will scratch the back of her neck and her throat area. But also her belly and thighs. The doctor said it was eczema but it doesn't match symptoms of eczema. She has these episodes of itching that can last up to 4 hours and occur on average 1-2 every couple of weeks. She is miserable when it happens. It can effect her sleep and just daily activity. No creams work to relieve it. I keep her nails cut short but she still scratches herself. During the episodes the area becomes very red and blotchy. Anybody else have a similar story with their child. I just don't know what to do. Thanks.
