Infant death

My sister's daughter died recently. They called it non-accidental death and arrested his father. I've found out that the baby, 16 month's, had a White Blood Cell count of 60,000. He also had a "thin layer of blood between the brain and dura", over the entire inside of the skull. He also had a priapism and destended belly from were they said his daddy had kicked him (which he denies and even turned down a plea bargain). No treatment was administered for the above problems. He was stricktly treated as a "battered child" and he died in two days.
