About 4 months ago I started taking Lutera. I had been on 2 previous types of bc in the past, with a couple of months in between each new one. the first two, Ortho Tricylcen Lo and Yaz, gave me horrible side affects, no sex drive, hair loss, weight gain, oily skin and even acne, and those are two that are suppose to help prevent it!
however, i started taking lutera and have no symptoms or side affects.. i haven't really gained weight, i have quite a sex drive still.. it's almost as if i'm not taking it.
i AM taking it correctly, every day, same time, and yet no side affects.
i know that sometimes it happens, but does it happen more if it's not working? before i go to the doctor and have her change it, has this happened to anyone? is there maybe a blood test or something to tell if everything is in order?

Well i started bc pills about 4 months ago and during the 3rd month my breast were sore for like the whole month. Everyone's body is differenct and will react differently. If this still concerns you call you doctor and ask what they think.

let us know the results!

Lol, I think it's funny that when nothing is going wrong, we tend to assume something is wrong!!

It seems to me that it's working like it should -- exactly like it should. You don't need to have side effects to know it's working- many women never have any side effects. It sounds to me like you found your perfect birth control match!

Oh I should add- the chances that you are taking it right and it is not working (pill failure) is really really low, like less than 1%.
